Fender CD-110CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar Review
When it comes to cool guitars you can’t look past the Fender brand for top quality. If you don’t want to spend thousands on your next guitar Fender also produce some good quality guitars at a lower price range. The Fender CD-110CE acoustic guitar has a sleek black design with a beautiful sound. It’s not the best Fender guitar by any stretch of the imagination but it is a decent entry-level guitar.
This Fender Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic Guitar has a black laminated Mahogany body with black sides. It comes with a laminated flame Maple top and rosewood fretboard. The scale length is 25.3″ or 64.3cm. The bridge is also made from rosewood and it has black bridge pins with white dots.
The Fender Dreadnought is an acoustic electric guitar that uses the Fishmann Isys III System for its electronics. It comes with a built-in chromatic tuner with treble, mid, bass and volume controls.
Fender has transformed the music world with their instruments and played a big part in starting the rock revolution. Many professional musicians use Fender guitars for their concerts and gigs. The Fender name dates back to 1946 and since that time they have continued to rock the world with their high quality guitars and accessories.
Rockin’ Looks
When jamming to your favorite songs you want something that not only sounds great but looks good as well. The black body and sides with rosewood bridge make the CD-110CE look quite sleek. It looks just like an acoustic guitar with the electronic controls wrapped around the top side, making them barely noticeable from the front.
Sturdy Design
The guitar looks fairly well made although it has had mixed reviews from customers. The CD-110CE is made in China but this doesn’t necessarily mean it lacks quality. Quite a lot of effort has gone into producing the best quality possible from this design.
The guitar came thru quickly…arrived in perfect shape…double boxed for protection….the guitar was made in China but it seems to be well made and the electrical tuner and preamp are terrific…this was a reconditioned guitar but who knows what was wrong with it as it seems perfect now… more
OK Sound
When it comes down to it the thing that matters most is the sound. The sound is good for an entry level guitar. It’s laminated so don’t expect the kind of sound you would hear in a more expensive guitar but for a few hundred bucks it’s ok. Some players find the sound quality to be acceptable, just like the reviewer below.
The guitar is awesome..it has a beautiful sound to it and when plugged in its even better… more

Pros & Cons
The Fender Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic Guitar is an affordable entry-level guitar for the beginner. It doesn’t have the high quality tone and pitch that high end guitars have but it should be find for someone in their first few years of learning.

Recommendations
Not recommended – The Fender Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric guitar does have a booming sound and an affordable price which may make it a possible candidate for the beginner guitar enthusiast. It does lack some of the richness of other guitars in the price range and not every customer is satisfied with the product that has arrived after shipping.
A better choice in this price range would be the Yamaha FG700S or the Cordoba C5 Acoustic Guitar. If you do like the Fender CD-110CE you can find the best price here.
